ERPNext & Frappe integrations · India
ERPNext integrations that don't fail quietly.
GST e-invoicing, Tally, payment gateways, your bank, WhatsApp, IndiaMART, your online store. Most ERPNext projects treat these as a line item after go-live. I treat them as the part most likely to break, and build each one so someone knows the moment it does.
GST e-invoice & e-way bill
Every invoice gets its IRN, exactly once.
- Built on India Compliance, not around it
- Retries that can't create a duplicate IRN or e-way bill
- A daily list of invoices still waiting, and why
- Alerts when the portal or your GSP credentials stop answering
Tally ↔ ERPNext
A one-time migration, or a live sync that doesn't drift.
- Masters, opening balances and vouchers moved with a reconciliation report
- Live sync only where it earns its keep, with a clear owner for each record
- Mismatches flagged the same day, not at year end
- A plan for the day you switch Tally off
Payment gateways & bank statements
Money in matches money recorded.
- Razorpay, PayU and Stripe webhooks that are safe to receive twice
- Payment Entries created against the right invoice, automatically
- Bank statement import and reconciliation rules
- A report of anything that didn't match, for a person to decide
WhatsApp, IndiaMART & lead sources
Messages that arrive, and leads that don't duplicate.
- Invoices, reminders and order updates on WhatsApp Business (Meta Cloud API or WATI)
- Approved templates, opt-ins and delivery status recorded on the document
- IndiaMART and website enquiries into CRM, de-duplicated
- Telephony and email logged against the right customer
Online stores & storefronts
Stock and orders agree across every channel.
- Shopify and WooCommerce orders, stock and prices synced both ways
- ERPNext Webshop catalogues and enquiry storefronts on your own domain
- Sync jobs sized for festive-season volume, with back-pressure
- Clear rules for which system wins when they disagree
AI inside ERPNext
Claude drafts, ERPNext checks, a person confirms.
- Lead briefs, quotations, projects and tasks drafted from your own records
- Runs on your ERPNext with your own key — nothing leaves for a third-party tool
- Every draft priced and validated by ERPNext before anyone sees it
- An audit trail of what was proposed and who approved it
How I build
Every connector, the same five habits.
- Safe to retry. Every call carries a key, so a retry after a timeout can't create a second invoice, payment or IRN.
- Watched. Background jobs, queues and failed calls are on a dashboard, and someone is alerted before a customer notices.
- Upgrade-friendly. Custom apps in version control, never edits to ERPNext itself and never production logic in server scripts. Moving from v15 to v16 stays routine.
- Owned. Each record has one system that is the source of truth, written down.
- Handed over. A runbook your team can follow at 2 a.m., and a walkthrough before I step back.
Proof
I run ERPNext myself.
This practice runs on ERPNext v16 with India Compliance: leads, quotations, projects, timesheets, GST invoices and the client portal you'd use if we work together.
I also built and host the ERPNext v15 product catalogue and enquiry storefront for Superspices Global, on its own domain, with India Compliance for GST.
Both run on infrastructure I operate, with monitoring and off-site backups.
